Bryth, originally under the name “Breith” was founded by Ricky Lesney sometime in 2022 jamming oldies while also writing original material alongside. The band would release their first single “Question Mark?” on October 6, 2023, a pop-punk tune with goofy lyrics full of stereotypical raunchy teenage humor that perfectly encapsulates the songs energy. Bryth’s first gigs would take place at The Nightshop on August 17, 2024 and again on August 30, 2024, although with school being an obstacle of itself along with sudden lineup changes, being a young band was showing to not be so easy. It wasn’t until Mid-2025 where Bryth started to kick off and really reinvent themselves with a brand new lineup, exploring heavier genres and getting weirder with songwriting. With audience and fans alike having compared their sound to everything from Silverchair to Primus, Bryth’s diverse influences seems to bring younger and older crowds together with immense sonic ecstasy. The band would release “Slick Sounds In The Basement” on Feburary 6, 2026 a live recorded EP with Studio 115, which has been sold to many new eager fans with every show. They have since shared the bill with respected acts like Didjits and Smoking Popes and having accumulated hundreds of followers throughout social media. Bryth will rock the block with any chance they get, with no sign of slowing down any time soon.
